These aren’t the best pictures in the world, but a couple of years ago, a friend came over with some doggie costumes and we got Amos dressed up like a pizza slice and a taco.

He was really not amused.

Happy Halloween everyone! Have a safe holiday!

Check it out!
City of Ghosts collection by Victoria Schwab. YESSSSS!!!!!! This series was so awesome. I finished each book in two days at the beginning of the month. They were all amazing. One just as good as the next. I loved the characters so much and the premise was fantastic. I just love love LOVE Victoria Schwab. This is not the first book series of hers that I have loved and I am certain it won’t be my last!!!
The Hawthorne Legacy by Jennifer Lynn Barnes. This is the second book in what I am hoping is a series and not just a trilogy. (It was just announced book 3 will be out in August of 2022.) I really enjoyed the first book (even though it had bad/no research done on heart transplants, so that part made me cringe.) And I think I liked this book even better. This one also had one thing that made me almost throw the book across the room, but it is a TOTAL spoiler, so I will not discuss it publicly. But overall, I have really enjoyed both books by this author so far. I am looking forward to reading more from her.
Education of a Wandering Man by Louis L’Amour. I haven’t yet finished this one, but I am working my way through it between other books. I really like it though. I will probably have more to say about it after I finish reading it. But Louis L’Amour is a really interesting guy.
Two books coming in November. Book #2 of the Fahlstrom Adventures, The Grimoires is releasing on November 1, 2021. Plus a Flash Fiction collection, filled with some of my shorter short stories, is releasing on November 15, 2021.
There will also be a few short stories being released throughout the month, so I will post announcements when they become available.
You can pre-order The Grimoires and Flash Fiction today.
Need something to get you through the rest of the week?
