It’s great that he is a well trained dog.
My ex-boss just got rid of her son’s dog because the dog won’t stop stealing their food off the table and kitchen counter tops. And her son does not want to keep it tied up in the back yard. It’s not a house dog.

Amos can reach the counter easily and the kitchen table is comfortable face-level for him, but he knows he is not allowed to steal food, and 99% of the time, he doesn’t. He is totally a house dog. I don’t think he would know what to do with himself if he was left outside.
