Writer’s Open Challenge

I think there’s at least four of us so far that have taken up the challenge. So here’s a good post to check in on if you’re one of those four or if you’re new here and want to join. (There is no set time frame, so join up at any time you wish!)

I did not get anywhere near what I wanted to get done this first week. But having a ton of doctor appointments and a lung biopsy had a lot to do with that. I was able to get a little bit of writing done almost every day, and I was able to get a few short story collections put together so that I have something publishing every month through May (I posted them for pre-order.) I was hoping that would take some pressure off and help me feel like I’m still accomplishing something, even if starting chemo makes me feel like crap.

But let’s have everyone sound off. Hopefully you all had a better week than I did. But life happens and slow weeks happen. So don’t let one get you down.

Remember, the challenge is whatever works for you. Just get to writing!

  1. You are certainly correct about life happening. This is why yesterday, I stopped pulling my hair out over my living situation.

I got some editing done yesterday and today. So I have self-published my first book for 2022. My aim to get 100 of these little babies into the world in 2022.
