Yesterday was another long day at the cancer center. Another 9 hour day where they draw blood about every hour to see how the new chemo meds are affecting me and how things are going. I also got two extra jabs because they inject me monthly with two other meds. They decided to do those while I was there yesterday. So I was a pin cushion all day.
It’s long and exhausting, especially since they were draining so much blood out of me. One more brief trip in today for just a few tests and then I will have the weekend to recover. Very happily, that was my last long day. All the rest of my days there will be much shorter. (Thank you, Lord.) Those long days were necessary, but really sucked.
One of the meds is making my hip hurt. Apparently this is totally normal and I was told I could use a cane or a walker to help me get around. That should be fun.
But still, so far, so good.
Thanks for keeping us updated on your health. I really want to see you pull through this.
I don’t know if you noticed it, but this blog post doesn’t have a title attached to it.

Nope. Had no clue until you mentioned it. That makes it hard to click on. LOL. But thanks. I fixed it.
I really want to pull through this too. 🙂 I’m doing good so far. Let’s hope it stays that way!
