On July 21 I am having brain surgery. Right now, I am mostly doing all of the prep for the surgery. All of the pre-op testing and paperwork. The nice thing is I get to pause my chemo for a few weeks. That will help with energy levels and general side effects that I won’t have to deal with.
The surgery itself is to drain three cysts. We are hoping this will help me get my left side function back. Because for the last couple of months, it’s been like a post stroke situation. I cannot control the left side of my body well. So hopefully this surgery will help me regain that.
