Testimony

I spent most of my college years studying religions of all kinds. I was an anthropology major for awhile and studied religions as my focus. After studying that topic for a few years, everything kept leading me back to the Bible and the truth that was in it. I changed my major because I didn’t understand why they were teaching lies in my archeology and anthropology classes. My teachers outright admitted that there was more evidence backing up the Bible than there was to back up evolution, but they continued to preach evolution anyways.

In 1998, I met my soon to be husband and he led me to the Lord soon after we met. He took me to his church and late on the night of his birthday that year, he explained the Gospel to me and I accepted the Lord as my Savior.

I have been a Christian for over 25 years, but I feel like I have not spent enough time getting to know the Lord. So I am changing my focus in my writing to things that would be more pleasing to God. It’s not that I have written anything bad in the past, I just want to tweak things a little more towards what I feel God wants me to write. I am also focusing on studying the Bible more than ever before. I will be following the Lord’s leading in my life and my writing.

I have been praying a lot lately, especially about my cancer. But I am at peace with where God has placed me. Yes, I pray for God to cure me of my cancer. But I also accept the fact that this may be how God wants me to connect with people who are suffering and need His leading in their lives.
